✅ Your journal entries never leave your device – they are stored locally and only you can see them.
📊 We use Firebase Analytics to understand general usage (like which screens are most popular).
🛠 We use Firebase Crashlytics to fix app crashes and improve reliability.
🙅 We don’t sell, share, or track your personal content.
⚖️ If you’re in the EU/UK or California, you have extra legal rights explained below.
This Privacy Policy explains how RMK Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when
you use the OneLine mobile application (“App”).
Our guiding principle is simple: your journal answers stay on your device.
What We Collect
The App itself does not collect or transmit your journal content. We only use the following third-party services to
help us understand app performance and stability:
Firebase Crashlytics – crash reports and diagnostics (e.g., stack traces, device model, OS
version) to improve reliability.
What We Do Not Collect
No journal answers leave your device. Entries are stored locally in your device’s database.
No personal contact lists, photos, precise location, or microphone content.
No user accounts are required (unless you opt into future features that explicitly state otherwise).
How Your Data Is Used
Analytics data helps us understand feature usage and improve the user experience.
Crash data helps us diagnose and fix stability issues.
Data Storage & Security
Your journal content is stored locally on your device. You control it.
Analytics and crash data are processed and stored by Google Firebase on our behalf.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; however, no method of transmission or
storage is 100% secure.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR/UK GDPR)
If you are located in the EU/EEA or the UK, we rely on the following legal bases:
Legitimate Interests – for using analytics and crash reports to improve app performance and
stability.
Consent – if you opt into analytics/crash reporting where required.
Your Rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)
You may have the right to:
Access the personal data we process about you.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your data where applicable.
Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
Complain to your local data protection authority if you believe your rights are violated.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended
by CPRA):
The right to know what categories of personal information are collected and for what purposes.
The right to request deletion of personal information we hold (subject to certain exceptions).
The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.
The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share: We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA.
Opt-Out & Controls
You can disable analytics collection from within the App’s settings (if provided) or by changing your device’s
ad/analytics preferences.
If you wish to avoid crash reporting, you may disable it in the App’s settings (if provided). Note: disabling
may limit our ability to fix issues for your device.
Third-Party Services
We rely on Google Firebase services. Please review their policies for details:
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your region). We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children.
International Transfers
Analytics and crash data processed by Firebase may be stored and processed on servers outside your country. These
providers implement safeguards for such transfers.
Retention
Journal content: remains on your device until you delete the App or clear the App’s data.
Analytics/Crash data: retained by Firebase per their retention policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App and/or on our website with
a new “Last updated” date.
